MS SQL Database administrator

Key tasks and responsibilities
- Guarantee of a high-performance database operation of our business-critical applications on-premise and in the cloud
- Monitoring, error analysis and performance tuning in 2nd & 3rd level support
- Implementation of backup and recovery strategies as well as high availability / cluster concepts
- Release & patch management and automation of standard tasks
- Cooperation with our (inter)national IT departments and participation in IT projects
Requirements
- A completed degree or a completed apprenticeship with a focus on IT
- Professional experience with MS SQL (from 2012) and ideally Oracle (from 11g) and / or PostgreSQL
- In-depth knowledge of working with high availability concepts and technologies as well as backup and recovery of databases
- Certifications are beneficial
- Independent, responsible and service-oriented way of working
- Excellent team and communication skills
- Confident knowledge of German and English
